PD Chaugule, the first Indian at the Olympics

Dear Friends Due to unavoidable circumstance and and work pressure am unable to write the blog, today when i came across an interesting  article about PD Chaugle , the first Indian at the Olympic i thought about to share with you all.

The cover design depicts Late.Sri Bandu Patil of Belgaum with the then  PM of India Late Sri.Lalbahadur Shastri.Late Sri Bandu Patil represented the Indian Hockey team, which won Silver medal & Gold medal during 1960 & 1964 Olympics.

The cover also depicts the photograph of late Sri.P.D.Chougle of Belgaum known as “Pavanajaneya” the Ist Olympian of the Nation having participated in the 1920 Olympic Marathon Race held at Antwerp , Belgium.
