XIX th Commonwealth Games opening ceremony start with a dazzling and vibrant colours at New Delhi on 03.09.2010 and to mark this event India post issued the special stamps and Miniature Sheet on this occasion.
These stamps are in new look with new sign of Indian Currency recently introduced.The colorful MS depicts fireworks signifying this mega event in India stamps feature four different sport events – Badminton, Archery, Hockey and Athletics.
